We use state-of-the-art CNC grinding equipment, highest quality solid carbide blanks and ultra-fine grinding wheels to produce our American-made router bits. DOWN-CUT SPIRAL GEOMETRY - The Ultra-Shear router bit uses a specialized geometry design to slice into the face of your material for a clean cut in even the thinnest face vaneers. PERFECT FITTING DADOES & GROOVES - This plywood-sized router bit matches the true dimension of 18mm baltic birch plywood resulting in perfect fitting mortising, dado & grooves. Domestic plywood rarely matches its "nominal dimension". On the other hand, Baltic Birch is generally spot on its metric dimension…but where in the States do you find metric-sized router bits? Ultra-Shear Plywood Bits match up to the actual sizes of both domestic and European plywood for perfect fitting dadoes and grooves.

Our 7/32", 15/32" and 23/32" router bits match the true dimension of most 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" nominal domestic plywood. Our 6mm, 9mm and 18mm router bits match Baltic Birch plywood perfectly. And as a bonus, the 15/32" bit matches 12mm Baltic Birch.

All 6 bits have down-cut spiral geometry, which slices into the face of your material for a clean cut in even the thinnest face veneers. The two smallest bits are solid carbide. The 4 larger ones have a carbide head brazed to a rugged steel shank. You can order each size individually, or save with the complete set.
