Solid reclaimed wood construction. Each shelf is made from real reclaimed wood with natural variation in color, grain, and character due to previous use and aging No drilling required! Shelves 12" to 36" include easy-mount hardware that will hold up to 50 pounds of weight when properly mounted to studs. Shelves come pre-routed to hide hardware. Distinctive reclaimed features. Wood may include natural saw marks, hand hewing, knots, mortise pockets, and other signs of historical use that add character Crafted in the United States. Shelves are made from reclaimed wood sourced from barns and buildings in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and surrounding regions Finish and color notes. Oiled finish appears medium brown with red or golden undertones; unfinished shelves show lighter natural wood tones and can be finished as desired

A solid reclaimed barn wood 3x10 fireplace mantel shelf, bracket mounts and hardware are all included. The back of each piece will be routed to help hide the brackets, but pieces are NOT pre-drilled for the corresponding hardware, unless the upgraded bracket is purchased. Holes will need to be drilled into the back of the product in accordance with the bracket location on the wall. This requires a 1/2" drill bit.

Finishing the wood can change the color dramatically. For example, yellow pine tends to end up more reddish and white pine can look brownish but that's not always the case. Other factors that impact appearance are the age of the piece, the environment in which it spent its life, and the overall condition.
