Deux Betes: A Tale of Two Beasts

Women are vanishing from the woods. From different places, at different times. Gone, as if they'd disappeared into thin air. When the granddaughter of Garrett Roth, Governor of Louisiana, goes missing from the archaeological site wherein a controversial Creationist scientist claims to have unearthed the skeleton of an actual Bigfoot, Roth is left desperate enough to offer a pardon to his state's most infamous criminal. That man, Beauregard Saint, possesses the ability, it is said, to find anybody. In the past, Saint used this ability to locate, and exterminate, those whom the Mob wanted dead. Now he is tasked to find this missing woman and bring her home alive, a task easier said than done, considering the inhuman abomination that took her carried her with it back to its own world, a parallel dimension from which it can emerge at will to hunt—and to kill. Saint represents Roth's last and only hope. Too bad for Roth that Saint may prove even more dangerous than the creature they are both hunting...
