He spent a decade of his earlier career working in Eastern Europe as a reporter armed with a degree from the prestigious Missouri School of Journalism. He is lover of the night sky and dedicated to story telling. Illustrator Klotz, the daughter and granddaughter of gifted artists, has been drawing since she was "old enough to hold a crayon." Besides her artistry, she works daily in special education, manages a family farm and plans adventures with her husband and young daughter. Stanard, an award-winning graphic designer with over three decades of experience, in recent years has transitioned into fine art. She currently focuses her acrylic art on the natural world of her native Missouri Ozarks from The Creekside Studio of Art & Design in her hometown of Poplar Bluff, MO.
