The Fifty-Dollar Eggs

One of the true gems of life is when someone gives of themselves to help others. It is especially true when that giving arises on the spur of the moment in unplanned ways. This is a story of a young man's search for special gifts for his family that would go beyond just the basic necessities. In his search, he finds himself in a old second-hand store where he is able to locate something special for each member of his family. As he prepares to pay for his treasures, strangers enter the store, each having a special need, and the young man gives of what he found for his family to help those needy people. In the end, through his giving he finds a much larger treasure that finds a place in his heart and would bring him more deeply into a life lived well.
