Food grade silicone is a long-lasting, durable material that serves as a healthier, more inert alternative to plastics for use in food and beverage applications. High quality, flexible black silicone tubing compound in compliance with FDA and 3A Sanitary Standards. USDA approved for meat and poultry plants. The material is odorless and contains no BPA, lead, latex, or phthalates. Normal operating temperature within 212 degrees F (100°C). Max Working Temperature: 500 degrees F (260°C) for 1~2 hours; 392 degrees F (200°C) for 10 to 20 hours. Silicone tubing's max operating pressure: 0.2MPa. Durable. Food grade silicone won’t harden, peel, crack, dry out, crumble, rot, or become brittle over time. This extremely flexible, food grade silicone is suited for general low pressure industrial applications for the conveyance of chemicals, liquids, gases, and solids of suitable granular size, such as factory air lines automation machinery and pneumatic lines.(Note: The silicone tubing is not suitable for strong oxidants such as ozone.)
