Inspirations 2025: Dreaming Dreams

Inspirations 2025 is an annual compilation and update of inspirational blog postings we release once every week via social media. It’s chock-full of history, important quotes, contributions and lessons learned from historical figures in various fields, writers and other artists, and important events. These have inspired us in writing Adam in Taoland and the two sequel novels in our Dreaming Dreams trilogy. The subjects of these 2025 Inspirations traverse the millennia of human history – dating back to Confucius and Prophet Mohammad and all the way forward to Ronald Reagan and Elon Musk. We include individuals who have demonstrated that ‘one life’ can indeed make a positive impact on humankind – folks from all fields including Winston Churchill, Mother Cabrini, Charles Darwin, Chris Gardener, Sir Nicholas Winton, Malala Yousafzai, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Nelson Mandela, and some lesser known heroes – individuals whose lives inspire each of us to make whatever differences we are able. We also draw inspiration from innovators, scientists, and inventors like Galileo, Walt Disney, Howard Hughes, Steven Hawking, Copernicus, the Wright Brothers, Bill Gates, and Gutenberg. We write about lessons learned from artists who have inspired millions – including Ray Charles, Pavarotti, Freddie Mercury, Aretha Franklin, Rob Stewart, Van Gogh, Robin Williams, Michael Jackson, The Beatles – writers George Orwell and Mark Twain – and sports greats Tiger Woods, Babe Ruth, Muhammad Ali, and Willie Mays (who died this past year). We hope the words of these pages might inspire you to commit to becoming better versions of yourselves – as they have done for us, your authors.
