It is recommended that the zinc anode be installed downward or horizontally to prevent air entrapment. Easy to install between the pool filter and heater, or between the pump and filter. Transparent Housing for Easy Monitoring: See-through housing allows you to check the condition of the anode and monitor its corrosion status, ensuring timely replacement. Regular Maintenance for Optimal Performance: Use sandpaper to remove dirt and rust from the surface of the zinc rod every six months. The anode should be replaced when it is half its original size (about 3 years).
