How do I install the skimmer cover?

1. Clean the skimmer area

Begin by cleaning the area around the skimmer. Remove any debris, leaves or dirt that may be blocking the skimmer opening. This will ensure that the skimmer guard will do its job.

2. Align the Skimmer Screen

Place the skimmer net guard over the skimmer opening and gently place the guard over the skimmer to ensure it completely covers the opening. The net should be evenly spaced around the edge of the skimmer opening.

3. Secure the shroud

Thread the elastic cord through the shroud and up the pipe to the top outlet, securing it in place and ensuring a tight fit to prevent it from moving or being washed away by the water flow.
