Henry possesses an incredibly uncanny ability with shooting a Military Sharps Rifle, that he received from his Father, who was a decorated marksmen. Henry ends up winning the job of taking all the necessary meat for the trains’ survival. There are many dangers and rewards throughout this long adventure, and Book One in the four book series. This takes us all the way to Oregon where they manage to create their new homestead. There are numerous characters and animals that will be added, throughout The Series, and many dangerous animal encounters as well!
