Nina Kentsis was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island, which often comes across when she says words like "dog" and "coffee." Her stories explore young adult themes through the eyes of smart teenaged girls plunged into new worlds. She has written a number of award-winning screenplays; ACTS OF LOVINGKINDNESS is her first novel. Nina holds a BA in Literature from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia University. In her day job, she works as a market researcher, looking for deeper insights into why people do the things they do. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
