Healing Our Grieving Souls: A Guided Lenten Reflection Study

This study book was written with the vision of being used as a Lenten reflection journal on a daily individual basis as well as for weekly discussion guidance for a small group. I have personally experienced a lot of healing through a combo of 1x1 time with God as well as communing with a group in Bible studies, and I would love for you to be blessed from personal and communal experiences in this study. That said, however the Holy Spirit invites you to dive into His Word and prayer with this guide, feel free to do so. Maybe you decide to process through this in the summer or fall instead of the spring Lenten season – cool! May the Lord lead you and bless you. For each week, there is a focus Scripture passage. On a daily cadence, there are short reflection prompts based on the Scripture with space to journal and reflect. At the end of each week, you can come back together as a group to digest the fruits of that week with the provided discussion questions. You are invited on a grief healing journey with God in this study: Healing Our Grieving Souls . Maybe you have a loved one you have lost and are grieving, maybe you are walking with someone who is dealing with such a loss, or perhaps you just feel called to this study for the sake of growing closer to the Lord. The truth is, we all have grieving to do. The person who loves us more than anyone else, died. (And, as He promised, he rose again, defeated death, and is still with us. Our hope is immense based on this truth!) And as we go on this grieving journey with Jesus, as we refocus with an eternal perspective, I hope you find purpose and life springing forth in the crevices of your soul that the Lord is inviting back to life.
