This story is an autobiographical, first-person account of a man’s struggle with childhood abuse, post-war combat trauma, addiction recovery, and marriage turmoil. This book is intended to offer an encouraging message of hope, restoration and perseverance. A dark but authentic story about the nameless, faceless, people out there. The so-called everybody. The writer is unknown and leaves people and places anonymous. The writer does this so the reader can insert themselves in the story. This way the reader can identify with the author and the author intentionally wants to identify with the reader. The protagonist is also the antagonist, a shining knight in dark clothing. Dark humor so far-fetched yet blatantly honest. A story worth listening to with an offer of some hope.
