In 2015, I was involved in a most unusual accident that left me a quadriplegic. I spent two days on a ventilator, nine days in ICU and 6 1/2 months in a rehabilitation hospital. However, my story is not a sad one,. My story is about perseverance and optimism. This optimism was fueled by family members, doctors, nurses, therapist and God. My wife, Sarah, never left my side. Sometimes literally. We decided early on that our story would be Uplifting and positive. I had many miraculous events occurred during my recovery that belief that God was watching over me. My recovery is never ending and I still have numerous interactions with medical personnel to this day. My hope is that my story will inspire others. Keith Stone is a 61 year-old retired accountant. He is able to write books through a unique computer set up with an adapted keyboard and mouse. He also uses a voice to text program. Until his accident, Keith had never written a book before his accident. This memoir was the first book he wrote. Since then, Keith has written five novels.
