To Go & To Grow: For the One Who Loves God

When Jesus told His disciples, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, to the outer most parts of the world," the disciples had no clue how God would use them to go and grow the church (Acts 1:8). The book of Acts provides us with a wealth of understanding in how the disciples were faithful witnesses in many circumstances from courtyards, riverbanks, prison cells, and before royalty. Before Jesus sent them, He told them to wait for the gift of the Father sent through the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit would be the one who would empower them to be God's witnesses. These true stories are the eyewitness account of John written to the lover of God. This manual has been created for the lover of God that would like to learn, share, and teach these stories to continue the story and become a part of church history to go and to grow as a witness of what you have seen and heard about Jesus. You will read the story, answer questions, and do activities that will help you develop a basic recall of the entire Bible metanarrative as well as develop a simple mini-narrative for the book of Acts. This workbook requires you to discover the truths that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you that are critical for your context as you go to grow the church.
