In the rolling pastures of Chamberlin Farm lived a tiny, spirited miniature horse named Macho . He was small in size, but full of dreams, especially one very sparkly dream.. Becoming a Unicorn! Each day, Macho watched his big, graceful sister Padrena get brushed, glittered, and dressed in glowing unicorn horns and rainbow garlands before heading off to children's birthday parties with their humans, Cindy and Ed . Padrena would return full of stories, belly rubs, leftover cupcakes , and her mane even more magical than when she left. Macho would sigh and whisper, " I wish I could be a unicorn, too… ” But his mom would always chuckle and say,“ Macho, you're just not the right color for that, sweet boy. ” But one sunny morning, everything changed. Cindy came into the barn with a BIG smile and a tiny horn in her hand. “Macho,” she said,“ today is your day. A little girl is having an Afro Unicorn Party , and she asked for someone who looks just like you!” His heart soared. His hooves danced. And for the very first time, Macho was dressed in gold and glitter —not like Padrena, but in his own fabulous unicorn style. That day, Macho trotted into the party and was showered with hugs, sparkles, and giggles. The children cheered, “ Look! It’s our unicorn! ” He wasn't the same as Padrena… he was his own kind of magical. And from that day on, Macho knew that you don't have to look like everyone else to be a unicorn, you just have to believe it in your heart!
