Set in 2015, Book 4 of the Confessions Anthology centers around the Woods. When an accident at home sends Rick to live with a family friend, Hilary, and her son Adam, in Colorado, Rick begins to notice something off about the woods around his new home. Late at night, he can hear weird growling and breathing from his window. Determined to figure out what is going on, he befriends Viktor and a couple of locals to get the history of the town. Viktor suspects it to be UFO's or a bigfoot, something that Rick doesn't want to believe. But what he doesn't know is that something is lurking in the woods waiting for him and his new friends, something that has been around longer than he has, something that is dark and ancient.
