You are never stuck in a box when using any Odie’s product. This system is designed to give you all the tools you need and put you in full control! Make as little or as much stain as needed to complete a project, minimizing waste. Add more or less pigment to control saturation of colour, and even mix in other Creative Colour pigments to customize the colour, value and tone. Utilize the different bases for the stain (oils, wood butter and even the wax!) to really tune in your colours and effects to stand out from the crowd! All Odie’s finishes each have a unique, pleasant earthy, floral scent that do not have or leave a strong odor behind. They smell like a day at the spa and the smell quickly dissipates as it cures. Odie’s finishes are completely food safe, non toxic & and safe for everyone to use & live with, including the children and pets! Odie’s finishes are easy to apply using basic tools such as a non woven pad for application and a terry cotton towel for removing & buffing off the excess. Odie’s finishes dry fast and can be handled almost immediately, we recommend 3-5 days cure time before being subjected to standing liquids. Odie’s finishes do not require any special maintenance & finished surfaces are easy to clean using 10 parts vinegar to 1 part water, soap & water or by using Odie’s Cleaning Concentrate. A 1-2% concentration of Odie’s Cleaner in water is typically all that is needed. Odie’s finishes produce a beautiful, protective & very durable finish that is resistant to water, liquids & stains. It provides excellent resistance to heat and scratches & has natural UV inhibitors. Odie’s Universal Oil (OUO) is a revolutionary true hard wax oil finish that was originally developed for wood but is so versatile it can be used on almost anything! Food safe, solvent free and non toxic, containing no added driers, heavy metals or part 2 catalyst. Mr. Cornwall’s Super Duper Everlasting Oil (MCSD) is an exceptional multi use finish. Its thinner formulation and look is similar to that of a danish oil but with the strength, durability, versatility and all natural, food safe qualities you’ve come to expect with Odysseus Cornwall’s Outstanding Oils and Waxes.
