Installation - Simply install the regulator in the correct orientation, ensuring the gas flow follows the direction indicated by the arrow on the bottom of the regulator. For a secure and leak-free connection, use gas-rated pipe thread seal tape during installation. Fittings: 1/2" NPT inlet x 1/2" NPT outlet. Do not install the regulator too close to the heating equipment or use it in a very cold environment. Heat or cold can change the resistance of the spring inside the regulator. Caution - Please verify both your pipe size and the regulator’s connection size before purchasing. Keep in mind that thread size refers to the fitting, not the actual opening diameter.
