College 101: What Students and Parents Should Know About Universities

I have two audiences in mind. First, I want to help those who are (probably) going to college. What sort of school should you attend? What will you find at college? How can you be successful once you're there? Second, I want to help those who aren't sure about college. You're not sure what's there. You're not confident that you're ready. You don't understand the differences between types of colleges. I want to give you information to help you make better choices. The six chapters in the book are built around six key questions: What can you get out of college? What type of college should you choose? What are the different types of classes and professors? What is tenure? How can you be successful in college? How should you pay for college?
