St. Michael's Lent: Reflections from Daily Mass

Saint Michael’s Lent remains a living tradition for those who honor the Archangels and prepare their hearts for the battles of faith. It recalls Christ’s call to watchfulness: “Stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” This year, I felt called to embrace the devotion more intentionally. My observance is simple: to add at least one weekday Mass to my Sunday worship during these forty days. Inspired by a coworker who chose the same discipline, I recognized it as a way to deepen my faith, step more often into the rhythm of the liturgy, and draw closer to Christ in the Eucharist. What follows are my reflections from those weekday Masses: brief glimpses of the Word proclaimed, the homilies preached, and the quiet yet powerful encounter with Christ in the Eucharist. These notes are not theological studies, but a personal journal of grace, written in gratitude for this sacred time.
