My parents, Wayne and Sally Dye, were both called to full-time Christian service as young teenagers and have lived out their lives fulfilling that calling. Their life was full of adventure that spanned the globe. Out of that adventurous life came insights into how God works in the world. The book contains many God stories that include miraculous moments and offer guidance on how to relate to one another, based on years of research and learning in partnership with pastors, teachers, and students from hundreds of cultures across every inhabited continent. I have spent my life studying the Bible and learning from Mom and Dad's story. I have concluded that there is a mystery to the way God uses the Bible to transform us. This book includes many stories from their lives that will entertain you while helping you embrace that mystery a little better. Stories that aid you in applying their lessons to your Christian life. I have had the privilege of asking people about their Christian faith in more than 100 ethnic groups scattered across more than 30 countries. As a lifelong avid reader, I have drawn on the experiences of many others to complement my own. That is why I am more convinced than ever that anyone, anywhere, who knows and follows Jesus can have a much more meaningful life than they could living any other way." This book describes how Wayne and Sally Dye’s life experiences led to the anthropological, missiological, and spiritual insights they have contributed to missions through teaching missiology at Dallas International University. Part of this book applies those lessons to a postmodern world in which truth has been lost amid the varied beliefs embraced by Western culture today.
