Illustrator Taylor Crowe is himself on the autism spectrum. Graduating from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), his artistic talents breathe life into the pages of this book, providing a unique and authentic voice to the world of autism. Taylor Crowe is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, where he studied Character Animation. Taylor was diagnosed with autism as a preschooler. His artistic abilities were recognized in elementary school. This book was written by Leah with input from Taylor, drawing upon his childhood experiences. Taylor designed the characters and drew the illustrations. This is his first book. Leah Ulrich holds a BFA in Fine Arts from Southeast Missouri State University. Leah's interests in art were identified early. At age 5, when asked to name her favorite toy, Leah replied, "My crayons." This book was written by Leah with input from Taylor. Leah used one of her favorite media, watercolors, to complete the illustrations. This is her first book.
