Now as a grownup, she feels so lucky to be able to immerse herself in the world of children’s books and call it a job! As well as books, Helen loves tree-lined roads, sea views, and feeling the sun on her skin. She is based in London, England. Mel Matthews spent a few years as an amateur jazz musician before deciding to pursue a professional career in art and illustration.
