Bulkhead Fitting Fits Barrel Wall up to 1 inch Thickness, Need to Drill 1 1/2 inch Diameter Hole to Install Quarter Turn Ball valve O-ring Provided, Thread Tape/Sealant Not Required NOT Designed for Potable Water Installation Instruction:
Tools needed: Power Drill with 1.5 inch hole saw, Adjustable Pipe wrench
Drill 1 1/2 inch hole on rain barrel
Insert the bulkhead male piece with the gasket through the hole from inside of the barrel. (If you can’t reach the inside of the barrel, run the fitting down a coat hanger or piece of wire. Or just drop it inside, pick it up from outside.)
Turn nut COUNTER-Clockwise to tighten
Install spigot with o ring
