Rule#1: In any battle is “To Know Your Enemy”…The goal of this presentation is to teach you about “Satan,” the chief of all your enemies. Herein you will learn of Satan’s origin, his nature, his goals and the tactics he will use against you. Scriptures will be in simplest terms in King James & NIV versions. Most importantly, you will learn the “only way” to gain victory over him. Mind you, the attacks “Will Come,” and we “Need” to be prepared to stand firm.” So level by level we will examine the following: Who Or What Is Satan? Where Did he Come From? And Why Did He Come? What Are his Names? What Is his Strategy? What Are his Weapons? What Are his Methods Of Attack? Confronting & Identifying Yourself! What Is his Power? What Are Evil Spirits And Fallen Angels? What Is his Destination? And finally How Do We Stand Against Such An Opponent? “This is for those” who want to learn about his tactics that he uses against us! Satan is our biggest enemy, and it is important that we know how he works. The Bible says that Satan is very cunning. He is, an expert at what he does. He is smarter than any human can possibly imagine. His knowledge of mankind is ancient and vast. He is some age of eternity, with experience in leading us away from “God!” But knowledge is power. Armed with knowledge of how Satan works, we can more easily detect and therefore withstand his attacks. Lucifer, Satan, the Devil, the very names conjure up the many crazy images in the minds of most people. Unfortunately in today’s enlightened society, far too many people laugh and consider a literal personal being, as foolish superstitions, of the uneducated. So exactly; Who or what is Satan? The Bible states quite clearly that Lucifer was no ordinary angel in Heaven. His appearance was beautiful and dazzling. He radiated the light and “Glory of God.” Thus saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in Beauty. Thou hast been in “Eden the garden of God;” Every “Precious Stone” was thy Covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy Tabrets and of thy Pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the Anointed Cherub that Oversee, and I have set thee so thou wast upon the “Holy Mountain of God;” thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Lucifer is described as, “the anointed Cherub that covers.” This is a description of his position and created state. “He was anointed!” That is he was selected as separate, apart and above his normal position as a cherub to a “Special Purpose.” God literally “Set Lucifer” to be full of; wisdom and perfect in beauty. God also set him in the “Garden of Eden.” He had full access to God and mobility through his creation as the highest in command of “Angelic Beings.” He was complete… However this was not enough for Lucifer. Pride from a sense of self- importance caused Lucifer to usurp “God’s Authority.” The great wisdom that was his became corrupted by his, own intellect. Concerned about an office that wasn’t his, that was appointed too “Jesus by God to help in Creation of earth and man! His peace of mind and soundness became defiled by his iniquity. Hatred, rage, anger, and jealousy welling up to a deluded state that would, consume him from within. Thou was “perfect” in thy ways, from the day thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy “Merchandise,” they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned… (Ezekiel. 28:16). Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy “brightness…” (Ezekiel. 28:17).
