The material presented in this book is based on the conviction that Garab Dorje, Manjushrimitra, Sri Simha and Vairochana were real historical figures, who by working together, brought Ati Yoga into the world and blessed the Buddhists of Tibet with their highest teachings. Yeshe Donden is the name conferred upon Roger Calverley at the beginning of his journey through Tibetan Buddhism to Dzogchen. He had the blessing of years of study and practice, teachings and empowerments from a number of realized lama-gurus. From his deep immersion in the Dzogchen/Atiyoga View, Practice and Result came a close study of the Source texts of Dzogchen's founding masters, in particular Garab Dorje and Vairochana. Yeshe Donden coordinates a group of serious meditators who practice together daily in his home town of Lindsay, Ontario in Canada.
