GASLESS: E71T-11 does not require a shielding gas. The flux core inside the wire acts in place of the shielding gas. This makes the wire very versatile and perfect for mobile jobs, outdoor jobs, and people who do not have access to shielding gas. VERSATILE: This wire can be used on carbon and galvanized steel in a variety of applications including maintenance repairs, automotive repairs, light structural work, and more! EASY TO USE: This wire is less sensitive to contaminants in the base metal such as rust and mill scale, allowing you to still make quality welds even in suboptimal conditions. Our wire also has low spatter and slag that is easily removable. USABILITY: E71T-11 runs very similarly to E71T-GS. However, E71T-11 is designed for multi-pass operations. This wire runs on DCEN (Direct Current Electrode Negative) and can be used in the flat, horizontal, vertical upwards, and overhead positions. COMPOSITION: Our wire contains Silicon for better fluidity of the weld pool, Manganese for improved hardness, and other deoxidizers to ensure optimal performance.
