This book is a tribute to incredible English students In January 2025 I asked my English students to begin class by writing a 7-sentence story, beginning with the prompt: That Vacation . They worked the stories individually, then shared them with each other for peer review then they submitted them for grading. About the Authors In addition to my own micro-story, 29 other students opted to lend their voices to this collection. The students are in their first year of the Performing Arts Program at l'Université de Poitiers (Poitiers, France) for the 2024-2025 school year.You'll read stories expressing wonder or humour, recalling childhood memories with a twist of the fantastic. Such is the wonder of working with students... the stories are as unique as they are. Educational Value Large compositions can be intimidating for second language learners, so this offered them a chance to view a composition as something achievable.
